Privacy notice
This notice describes what Terrannex at https://terrannex.com processes when you play. The service is operated by Terrannex (the data controller). You can reach the operator at Open1Frontio@gmail.com for any question or request about your data.
What the game stores in your browser
- A random player identifier and your chosen display name, kept in your browser's local storage so you can rejoin a match after a reload. Neither is tied to an account; there are no accounts.
- Your settings (controls, graphics, map labels) and, for single-player matches, the last match setup, kept in local storage or session storage.
- No tracking cookies, no advertising identifiers, no analytics scripts and no third-party embeds are used.
Optional player account
- You can play as a guest. If you create an account, the server stores your display name, your email address (or, with "Sign in with Google", the Google account identifier and the verified email Google reports), a salted hash of your password (never the password itself), the date the account was created, and your match record: experience points, level, matches played and wins, with the game id of each awarded match.
- This is used to sign you in, to show your level, and to give you the small head start your level earns in the next match. Nothing else is derived from it and it is not sold or shared.
- A signed-in session is a signed token kept in your browser's local storage for up to 30 days; signing out removes it. To delete the account and its record, contact Open1Frontio@gmail.com.
- "Sign in with Google" loads Google's sign-in button from accounts.google.com only when you open the sign-in dialog; Google processes that request under its own privacy policy.
What the server processes
- Game traffic: the display name, the player identifier and the moves you make are relayed to every player of the same match over a WebSocket connection so the match can be played. Match state is kept in memory for the duration of the match.
- Connection metadata: the server sees your IP address to deliver the game and to apply per-IP rate limits. Server logs record IP addresses in anonymised (truncated) form together with timestamps and technical errors. The operator decides how long logs are kept.
- Transport security: connections are encrypted with TLS when the site is served over https.
What is not collected
No payment data, precise location, device fingerprint or advertising profile. The game does not sell or share data with third parties. The operator may host the service on infrastructure of a hosting provider, which processes network traffic on the operator's behalf.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the Turkish KVKK) you may have the right to access, correct or erase personal data, to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because the game holds no account data, the practical steps are: clear the site data in your browser to remove the identifier and settings, and contact Open1Frontio@gmail.com about anything held in server logs.
Changes
This notice is generated from a template that ships with the game's source code (version 2026-10-02). The operator publishes updates on this page.
